John worked with Inova Health Foundation over a period of 10 years, there every step of the way, leveraging connections with media outlets to attract target audiences and ensure maximum coverage.

In a long and challenging regulatory process, John worked with Pepco Holdings through its successful rebranding, driving awareness of the philanthropic work of the region's largest utility as it merged with Chicago-based Exelon Corp., the nation's leading competitive energy provider. In addition to managing magazine photo shoots with top executives, John also wrote philanthropic event summaries, scripted print ads and managed the design process of many of its print magazine ads.

For five years John successfully worked with The Maryland Jockey Club in a high profile campaign to attract Washingtonians to The Preakness, the so-called "Middle Jewel of the Triple Crown," working with Embassies, Hollywood agents and media channels to attract A-Listers and create buzz around its Preakness Pavilion. 


For the Washington DC launch of the Cadillac ATS, General Motors hired John to energize the brand around a younger, Gen-X new class of car buyer.   John organized a high-energy launch party at Arena Stage, where 700 guests were introduced to the vehicle through test drives and video testimonials.  This event fueled a massive social media moment for Cadillac which went viral, catalyzing new, younger sales for GM's Cadillac Division.
